Project Title: Wake Up
Brief Synopsis: This film began as an experiment—a challenge to make something entirely on my own, with limited resources and complete creative control. From the outset, I wanted to break away from traditional storytelling techniques by avoiding close-ups, facial expressions, and especially the eyes. Instead, I focused on body language and movement to communicate emotion, tension, and disconnection. At its core, the film explores themes of stress, isolation, and the dull repetition of routine—universal experiences that slowly erode our creativity and sense of self. These are the quiet forces that put us into a box, both mentally and emotionally. By stripping away overt expression, I aimed to create a kind of mirror: one where the viewer projects their own feelings onto the character’s constrained world. This project was as much a personal journey as it was a creative experiment, and I hope it resonates with those who’ve ever felt trapped by the weight of the everyday.
