Project Title: Remember Me When I Leave
Brief Synopsis: Questioning their place in a world where physical spaces fade, a figure awakens in an unfamiliar home, forced to confront memories once forgotten. Drawing from the sentimentality of lost and forgotten possessions, “Remember Me When I Leave” is an extension of a undergraduate fashion collection that reflects on emotional attachment, revealing what we cherish and what we let slip away. Inspired by the complexities of a fragmented identity existing across separate places, it examines how we reconcile our past with our present.
Suspended in a liminal space, like the attic of an abandoned childhood home, each character functions as a doll once cherished but has since outgrown, characterised by the era of its creation while embodying the perpetual passage of time it was left behind in.
