Brief Synopsis: Pith is about a “girl” who attempts to conform to typical female gender standards. Their struggle to discover they are gender fluid impacts their mental health due to the lack of support from society. The story is told using “pith,” the white stuff in oranges as a metaphor for gender fluidity.
