Project Title: FROM THE INSIDE

Brief Synopsis: Against the volcanic landscape of Jeju Island, an eleven-year-old boy with

hearing loss discovers music in the sounds others barely notice. Through a homemade hearing aid, breaking waves, passing footsteps, and the laughter of strangers begin to form a melody.

When a ruined music producer on the verge of giving up hears the boy’s melody, he quietly presses record. Their chance encounter becomes an intimate story of connection, loss, and the fragile act of listening to one another, to the natural world, and to what survives beneath the noise. In the sounds the world has learned to ignore, a boy finds his voice and a man finds a reason to stay.
