Project Title: Dreaming Vincent

Brief Synopsis: "Dreaming Vincent" reprises Akira Kurosawa's masterpiece "Dreams" in the episode recognized as one of the most successful crossovers between arts: episode "Crows". A painter admires in a gallery some famous paintings by Vincent Van Gogh, and as if by magic she finds herself in one of them, in search of the painter just released from the asylum. The girl finds the Dutch painter drawing "en plein air", with a showy bandage to cover his left ear cut off. Van Gogh says he works "like a locomotive" and, because of the sunlight, he cannot waste time talking to her. This version is entirely shot in Turin and in the villages of Traversella, Fondo Canavese and Aglié, between romanesque bridges, Van Gogh soul and expanses of wheat fields. The post-credits scene has an atmosphere of peace and mystery, like an inspiring dream.
