Project Title: All the love and money in the world

Brief Synopsis: Camelia, a young woman living in her late grandmother’s cluttered apartment in Romania, is sewing a green dress when she discovers she’s pregnant. After being denied an abortion by a religious doctor at the public hospital, her only option is an expensive private clinic. With no one else to turn to, her childhood friend Giulia, an artist living in Italy, returns to Romania to help. They team up to clean apartments in hopes of raising the money they need, but time is running out. Desperate, Camelia asks Giulia to reach out to her estranged, wealthy father for the rest of the money. After a heated argument, Giulia refuses, and Camelia, feeling helpless, leaves. Giulia, guilt-ridden, reluctantly turns to cam girl work to earn the money.

Tragically, Camelia dies from a self-induced abortion in a moment of desperation. Giulia, devastated, experiences surreal encounters with her past at the cabin where they used to play as children, confronting the reality of her friend’s death. Ultimately, she finds acceptance through an unfinished painting of Camelia she had created in the cabin. As a final act of closure, Giulia travels to the lake where they spent their childhood vacations and paints Camelia in the green dress she was sewing, a tribute to her lost friend.
