Project Title: Witchclub Satan «Fresh Blood, Fresh Pussy»
Brief Synopsis: Experiencing womanhood in realisation to mother. "Fresh Blood Fresh Pussy" is a music video by the experimental music collective Witch Club Satan, known for their provocative and avant-garde visual and auditory style. The Music video is strongly influenced by the great Norwegian painter Edward Munch, with one of the scenes being a homage to one of his famous paintings The Vampire. The video encapsulates themes of feministic power dynamics, hedonism, mother-daughter complexities, characteristic of the collective’s artwork. The visual narrative includes striking imagery, blending eroticism with dark, surreal visuals that challenge societal norms around desire and female sexuality and female power. The aesthetic incorporate elements of horror, surrealism, and gothic influences, which helps to create a sense of unease and fascination. The use of bold colors such as blood red, contrasting lights, and abstract visuals work together to evoke a visceral reaction from the viewer. Throughout the video, there are scenes depicting various characters engaging in ritualistic behaviors, underscoring the theme of pleasure intertwined with danger. The rituals are also a mirror of the female archetypes and how women relate to each other. Like the mother-daughter relationship and daughters search to break free, but the bond keeps go throughout in generations. The lyrics and accompanying visuals may also juxtapose vulnerability with empowerment, presenting an exploration of identity and expression in a world that often seeks to constrain them. "Fresh Blood Fresh Pussy" serves as both a celebration of female liberation and a critique of the often dark undercurrents of human desire. The combination of audacious themes, striking visuals, and experimental sound design aligns with Witch Club Satan’s and director Stian Andersen´s mission to push the boundaries of conventional music videos and art, inviting viewers to question their own perceptions of pleasure, anger, female power, and the human experience.
