Director Biography
Paul Bryan creates honest films that capture the human experience. Having grown up in
North London he draws from his own journey, with a particular focus on exploring both the vulnerability and strength of the working class.

Director Statement
Production for Shillings & Pence started in 2018 where I went on to capture the humble routine of my labourer father over the span of four years. The original score was recorded inside the metal factory where he works.
