Aurora(Xuchen) Wang is a motion designer, illustrator & animator based in New York. Her work is often influenced by nature and childish things. Her style focuses on vibrant colors and uncomplicated shapes to make the viewer feel relaxed and peaceful. Furthermore, she has previously experimented with various digital mediums such as projection mapping and processing.
When Aurora was a child, she drew a dolphin on the wall to make her room look like an aquarium. She realized that her favorite thing was drawing and started to study art. Aurora has a BA degree in animation from Jiangnan University in China and an MFA degree in Computer Arts with a focus on motion graphics at the School of Visual Arts.
