Brief Synopsis:"I Was Everything" is a film-journey into one's own depths, into the past and into a fearful future. It is a story about refusing to be, about rebellion against a reality that seems constantly insufficient, unsatisfying, hurtful, not what it was meant to be. We meet the protagonist in a critical situation – at the moment of deciding to commit suicide – on the verge of still-being. In our narrative, we ask ourselves about the chances of overcoming such a difficult and extreme situation. Can light still be let into this crypt? I Was Everything is a story about hope, about opening up to oneself and drawing from one's experience. Perhaps this holds the path to resurrection?
