Director Biography - Paul Kattupalli
Paul Kattupalli MD is a physician and filmmaker. He was born in India and moved to the United States in 2001 to continue his medical career. He did internship in Psychiatry at Lincoln Medical & Mental Health Center, New York, and residency in Family Medicine at Altoona Regional Health System, Altoona, PA. He became a Board Certified Physician in 2010, by American Board of Family Physicians.
Director Statement
When the Covid Pandemic hit the world, I was working long hours to help my patients make better health care decisions. However, I was troubled by medical myths, half-truths, misinformation, disinformation, conspiracy theories, racism, and bigotry spread by some physicians and non-physicians for selfish reasons. I chose to write and direct this movie to help people understand the importance of scientific truth while making decisions related to healthcare.
